Product Description
C46400 Naval Brass lead FreeThe lead free naval brass is the result of the composition of 60% copper, 39.2% zinc and 0.8% tin. The addition of tin with zinc results in the high corrosion resistance in sea water. This makes the alloy resistant to dezincification that inhibit the impingement by seawater at higher than normal temperatures. The alloy is also appreciated for its resistance to wear, fatigue, galling, and stress corrosion cracking.
