Naval Brass RodNaval Brass, as the name implies, this variety of brass was originally produced for sea water services applications. Made from 1% Tin, 59% Copper and 40% Zinc, this one generally has high level of strength and hardness as compare to other non-Alpha Beta Brasses. The lead present in this kind of brass gives it high machinability, whereas Tin gives it high level of resistance against corrosion as well as dezincification. It is made employing techniques like bending, heading & upsetting, blanking, drawing, hot forging and pressing.
