Leaded Brass

An alloy which is most used for plumbing applications is this one- Leaded Brass. It consists of discrete lead particles in green boundaries, lead is a wrought material, insoluble in water and functions like zinc when mixed with the copper. The brass variety we offer here is praised across the market for its atmospheric corrosion resistance and high machinability. Addition of lead to the brass gives machinability to it by acting as a tool lubricant and microscopic chip breaker. Further, our offered Leaded Brass provide high level of pressure tightness to the alloy by sealing the shrinkage pores, hence extensively being used for making architectural hardware, bearings, fittings, machine screw parts, valves, etc.
